InnovateEDU is a cross-collaborative effort between MIT, BU, Northeastern and Emerson to give elite students the advantage of pooled resources, and higher competition, as well as exposure to the Boston entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Teams of five are pre-selected to represent each of the participating universities. There will be a total of four bootcamps, each of which take place at one of the different universities. These meetings take the teams all the way from ideation, to product development, market research, and finally, finance and logistics. The program will conclude with an investor pitch, which will derive from a written business model, and teams are also going to bring a basic wireframe/prototype of their product as well.

The winning teams will receive a cash prize, and will have preferential treatment in accelerators on campus, as well as across Boston.
